OUR APPROACH

We use evidence-based group coaching practices to accelerate the development of women leaders.

We prioritize creating a positive, supportive community environment for women to safely explore their leadership identity and develop the skills and confidence to sustainably transform the way they live and lead.

Our work is centered around four key principles:

THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION

LEAD FROM STRENGTH

AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP IDENTITY

THE POWER OF COMMUNITY

Research shows that creating a safe space for learning, experimentation, and community is critical for women’s leadership development. We’ve seen first-hand that when you feel a sense of belonging and can connect to the common experiences of other women leaders, you feel less alone. In this type of environment, where you can be vulnerable and real about your challenges, you are less guarded, willing to take risks and more open to learning from different perspectives.

Her Brilliance is founded upon a group coaching approach to women’s leadership development. Group coaching combines all the elements necessary to create the ideal environment for women to learn and grow … trust, connectedness, a sense of shared strength and a lasting network of peers.

SUSTAINABLE TRANSFORMATION

The key to effective leadership development interventions is creating sustainable, transformational change. We cultivate the ongoing space for you to reflect, draw your own connections and integrate the leadership content and learnings back into actions that address your specific challenges.

To ensure those actions create sustainable, integrated changes to your thinking and behavior, Her Brilliance is committed to doing more than simply teaching leadership skills. We know that creating true transformation takes time, continual practice and compassionate support. So, we use a multi-phased group coaching approach to create a development journey, rather than a one-time learning event.  The group environment helps you feel both challenged and supported to stretch, and encourages you to hold yourself, and one another, accountable.

LEAD FROM STRENGTH

Although a strengths-based approach to leadership is linked to high levels of performance and positive outcomes, women’s leadership strengths are not always recognized or fully valued within organizations. The mark of “good” leadership is still often defined in terms of traditionally stereotypical masculine traits. Women are then focused on emulating those characteristics, rather than staying true to their own unique strengths and differences.

Our programs are rooted in deepening self-awareness of your unique, individual strengths and values and developing techniques to more effectively leverage those attributes to enhance your own career, as well as benefit your team and organization.

AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP IDENTITY

The development of your identity as a leader is critical for your future success. However, for many women, the emergence of your leadership identity is complicated by gender biases around leadership expectations, which impact your ability to see yourself, and be seen by others, as a leader.

We support you to ground yourself in a true sense of self and who you might become as a leader. We help you to develop a strong sense of purpose so that you can authentically redefine who you need to be and what you need to do in light of what you value and want to accomplish.
